Privacy policy
Effective November 5, 2026
Slow Sets is a workout logger for iPhone. This policy explains what the app keeps, where it goes and what you can do about it.
In short: Slow Sets has no accounts, no ads and no tracking, and we don't collect your data. What you log stays on your iPhone, and in your own iCloud if you turn on sync.
What stays on your iPhone
- The workouts you build, the sets you log and your workout history.
- Your settings, such as weight unit, equipment and appearance.
- A record of app events, such as screens opened, workouts finished and purchases completed. It stays on your iPhone and is never sent to us or anyone else.
iCloud sync
With Slow Sets Pro you can turn on Sync with iCloud in Settings. Your workouts and history are then stored in your private iCloud database, and your settings in iCloud, under your Apple Account. Apple stores this data under its own privacy policy. We can't see it. You can turn sync off at any time.
Questions and search
Library search and Pro's questions during a workout use Apple Intelligence. Your question and the workout on screen (the exercise and the sets you've logged) are processed by Apple's model on your iPhone or, where Apple offers it, on Apple's Private Cloud Compute, which doesn't keep your data. A workout's questions are not saved: they're gone when the workout ends. We never receive them.
Purchases
Apple handles every payment. We never see your payment details. The app receives from Apple only what it needs to unlock Pro, such as which plan you bought and whether it is active.
Notifications
When you time a hold, the app can tell you when the timer ends. These notifications are scheduled on your iPhone, and you can turn them off in the Settings app.
If you email us, for example from Send feedback in Settings, we receive your email address, your message and the app and iOS version the app adds below it. We use them only to reply and to improve the app, and we delete them on request.
Diagnostics
If you choose to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone's settings, Apple may send us crash and performance reports. They don't identify you.
What we don't do
- No accounts or sign-in.
- No ads, and no advertising or analytics code from other companies.
- No tracking across other apps and websites.
- No selling or sharing of your data.
Deleting your data
- Settings > Delete all data removes every logged workout, saved workout and draft from your iPhone, and from iCloud when sync is on.
- Deleting the app removes what's on your iPhone. Data synced to iCloud can also be removed in your iCloud storage settings.
- Apart from emails you send us, we don't hold a copy of your data, so there's nothing else for us to hand over or delete. You're still welcome to ask us anything.
Children
Slow Sets is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect anyone's personal information.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update it here and in the app and change the date at the top.
